To provide efficient, friendly customer service at all times and to maintain a clean, professional top quality bar.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
Set up and maintain a clean, efficient bar throughout the shift.
Approach and greet guests.
Take and deliver orders.
Check back with guests.
Perform service bar duties.
Clean and clear service areas.
Welcome back departing guests.
Follow proper procedures on the above following liquor liability laws.
Up sell at all times.
Must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
Be able to stand for extended periods of time.
Perform correct POS transactions, closing duties and accounting procedures as required.
Attend all departmental meetings regularly.
Be able to read and follow recipes and have high standards when mixing drinks.
Assist servers with their duties and with clearing and cleaning tables as necessary.
Become familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws, certified C.A.R.E. and T.I.P.S.
Perform other duties as required.
Note: Definition of a Service Bartender: One who basically services Servers (less opportunity for tips due to less guest contact).

Education and/or Experience :
One year certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Language Skills :
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Other Skills and Abilities :
The ability to work well with a team, to prioritize, a sense of urgency and a real concern for guest satisfaction.
